Goodbye Old Apple!

This weekend marks the end! The Mets final regular season game is Sunday! A report just came out that the old home run apple will NOT follow the Mets to Citi Stadium. In fact, a new apple will be made but the hat will placed in the new stadium. Tears. As one blogger on ESPN stated,"We loved her to the core!"

Elin,Ethan,Chad and I went to the MET rooftop garden to officially end summer! It was an incredible day! The MET was overwhelming. I swear they have more Egyptian artifacts than Egypt. Great modern art collection!

First day of school and other stuff!

September is here! Where did summer go! Chad had his first day of teaching on Tuesday. The kiddos at NYU are eager youngsters. I started at PS 11 in Chelsea. A world of difference from Bed-Stuy! Student run farmer's market, music class that includes guitar lessons and a science lab. Here are some August highlights:
Chad and some folks went to Levon Helm's house for the famous ramble. Levon's house is a wooden mountain man's dream castle. They also took a side trip to see Big Pink.
While at ramble I was in Egypt seeing every temple in the country. Amazing. I'll spar you the 560 pictures.
